  • If you cancel within the first year, the reward and installation support must be paid back. Details are in your contract.
What you need

Before you sign up

Foreign residents with a residence card can sign up much like Korean customers. Here is what to have ready.

Documents

  • Residence card (ARC), or a Domestic Residence Report card for overseas Koreans. The account is opened in the name on the card.
  • A passport alone is usually not enough for home internet. If you don't have your ARC yet, tell us and we'll check what's possible.
  • US Forces members, diplomats or others without an ARC: ask us and we'll check your options.

Payment

  • Monthly bill by automatic payment from a Korean bank account or a Korean credit card.
  • Cash rewards are paid to a Korean bank account in your name.

Installation day

  • A carrier technician visits and sets everything up.
  • Technicians may not speak English. We confirm the date and time with you by chat in advance.
  • Someone needs to be at home to let the technician in.

Good to know

  • Contracts are 3 years. If you cancel early, the carrier charges an early termination fee. Leaving Korea does not cancel this fee.
  • Moving within Korea? You can usually move the service to your new home instead of cancelling. A moving installation fee may apply.
  • English support is by chat and email. Please contact us on KakaoTalk or by email.
FAQ

Questions we often get

Do you speak English?

Yes. We answer all KakaoTalk messages and emails in English.

Is it cheaper than signing up directly with the carrier?

The monthly price is the carrier's official price, the same as signing up directly. With us, installation is free and you get a reward after installation. We also compare the three carriers for you.

Which carrier should I choose?

It depends on your address, the speed you need, and your mobile phone carrier. Send us a quick message and we'll recommend the best option for you and explain why.

How soon can you install?

It depends on your area and the carrier's schedule. Tell us your move-in date and we'll ask for the earliest available date.

Can I add TV?

Yes. All three carriers offer TV plans that you can add to your internet. Ask us in the chat for prices.

Can I sign up with just my passport?

Usually not. Home internet normally needs a residence card (ARC). If yours is still being issued, let us know your situation and we'll check the options.

Who do I contact for repairs after installation?

The carrier's customer center handles repairs. Some carriers have English lines:

KT English line: 080-448-0100

LG U+ Global Center: 080-851-1004 (weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

For SK Broadband, send us a message and we'll help you.

What happens if I leave Korea before the contract ends?

The carrier charges an early termination fee. The amount depends on your plan and how long you have used the service. If you cancel within the first year, the reward and installation support also have to be paid back. Ask us before you sign and we'll explain the numbers for your plan.
